Spring is right around the corner, which means our numerous summer activities are going to
be in full swing soon. Our Golf Tournament, Pancake Breakfast, Harbor Fest and fundraising
efforts for our Legacy Playground are just a few of the adventures that await us as the warmer
summer months approach.
I’m also excited to know we will have new membership in our leadership team including new
board members, Dorothy Alling and Mica Schweitzer-Blum, Russell Werkman as our new
President and Robert Cormier moving into the V.P. Position as Donna Kelley moves up to the
President Elect role. This is a dynamic and impressive line up of members and I have
tremendous faith in their leadership skills.
As our activities increase in the months to come, please find a place where you can pitch in to
help. The old saying, “Many hands make light work” is applicable here. We are a team, and
every teammate is crucial to the success of our mission!!
Let’s have a happy, healthy and productive summer!
The winners of this year's Super Bowl pool were announced in February. Shown are Lee Woodward, Carl Collins, Jill Goodwin, John Carrick and Jason Trundy.
This pool benefits our food pantry account. With the sale of squares and the return of some of the winnings, we raised $386 this year. Many thanks to everyone who participated!
District Governor Visits
On January 22 2025, our assistant district governor Sandy Cox talked to us about what it takes to be an assistant district governor. His term will be ending soon and he is looking for a successor.
Thanks for taking the time to speak with us, Sandy. See you at the Pancake Breakfast!
